TIPS & ADVICE
- Electricity will fail from time to time, this is a normal activity in Goa . An inverter is provided and will switch on when this happens. There is also an emergency light provided, please keep this charged for emergency use.
- Mosquito’s are present in Goa , you can purchase repellents at the pharmacy (across the main Colva to Margoa Rd ).
- A kettle, toaster and sandwich maker is provided for your use.
- A gas bottle is provided for your use.
- A T.V and DVD player are provided for your use.

- Auto rickshaw driver, Ramnath, will take care of any maintenance issues in the absence of Directors, Arthur, Jimmy & Tony.
- A landline phone is provided for local calls only and pay as you go sim cards can be purchased from the local shop for your mobile, please ask Ramnath, Jimmy or Arthur for details.
- An iron and ironing board are provided for your use.
- Plates, cutlery, pans, cups and glasses are provided.
- A welcome pack of: 1 case of water, milk, tea, bread, 12 eggs, butter, sugar and toilet paper is provided.
- Domestic cleaner Shoba will clean apartments: Ground floor Tuesday and Saturday. 1 st floor Wednesday and Saturday. This includes changing bedding and towels which will be sent to laundry.
- 4 chairs and a table are provided to the rear of ground floor.
- 4 chairs and 2 small tables are provided on the 1st floor bedroom balconies for your use.
- A washing line is provided on ground floor and a clothes maiden is provided on 1 st floor. You can arrange for Ramnath to take your dirty clothes to the laundry (pay Ramnath for taking and pay laundry locally).
- Short trips can be arranged with Ramnath (pay him direct).
- Longer trips can be arranged with taxi driver Napoleon (pay him direct).
- A bus is available to Colva beach or to Margoa. Turn right at the end of the drive, follow the road to the yellow house and turn left. The bus stop is on the corner past police station (5mins to beach). Left side for Colva beach and right side for Margao (25mins).
- We hope to have a swimming pool in the future, in the meantime you can pay to use Williams Guesthouse pool which is situated on the main road to the beach, ask Jack about price (Rs/ 50 per person per day at time of writing).
- Recommended local restaurants: Mickey’s, Pasta Hut (excellent fish & chips!!), Raphael’s, Fishland, Martin’s Corner (Betalbatim), Johncy’s (Benaulim), and Sea Pearl, Gaylin (Chinese), Margao, and Williams for a drink.
- We recommend Silver Spoon beach shack for excellent sunbathing and service.
